I was out at the paddock with our family horse Romo and my daughter. I instantly noticed the Romo was unsettled. There was a dog barking across the road and up in the bush on a hill. I began to tune into the feeling in my body and could see the felt sense that Romo was feeling as well. You could feel the fear coming from the dog I, knew it was a hunting dog as people seem to do that in that area. There was also more information coming into my awareness of the situation. Which was a hunting dog had bailed up a kangaroo, as it was in one of the kangaroos daily paths. I felt I would walk up the hill next to Romos paddock and investigated the energy and Romo joined in along with my daughter. All of us moving as one. It was interesting feeling how this energy was felt over distance and couldn’t be seen. After we got to the hill where there was a better view of the noise, yet we couldn't see anything of a dog or kangaroo. Then Romo trotted off and went back to eating his feed looking up at us. We stayed there until the fear energy left.
This fear when felt can high jack your nervous system and take you on a rough ride. I have noticed that horses also have the needs for a solid leader which can hold a space and not be pulled into this fear energy and look after the needs of the herd.
So then I consider in people, this felt sense within the body and how it can be used to create clear and well informed outcomes based on what is felt and experienced as a whole unit of knowing energy information. Having solid boundaries enables one to observe the fear and not be taken over by it, so it moves past you.
Life lived in this space which comes from within the body and is part of the connection to being at this deeper level of oneness is felt. So a life that can be lived in the space and in harmony at deep level of being cannot be pulled into unconsciousness and fear. The stillness within this, is part of our natural state of being, which life experiences have blocked and created separation from what is our own essence and who we are.
Fear can be a guide back to your true home when seen as that and what it is holding for you to move through and grow.
